No way! Peeky Eyes tracks your mouse cursor purely using macOS system coordinate APIs. It has absolutely zero access to your camera, requires no network connection, and collects no analytics or telemetry. It's completely local and private.
Just double-click the eyes in your menu bar! They will stay cross-eyed for a couple of seconds before naturally returning to follow your cursor. You can also click once for a quick blink.
Not at all. The app is written in highly optimized native Swift. When your cursor is not moving, or when the eyes fall asleep during Idle Life, the drawing loop pauses completely, bringing CPU usage down to 0%.
Yes! Peeky Eyes tracks your cursor across your entire desktop, including external monitors, projectors, and iPad Sidecar displays. No matter where your cursor travels, the eyes will point in that direction.
If you have a lot of apps in your menu bar (especially on MacBooks with a notch), macOS may hide icons if there isn't enough space. You can press the global shortcut ⌥⌘G to toggle the eyes, or quit other menu bar items to make space.
Right-click (or click) the eyes in your menu bar and select Settings. From there, you can choose from 7 different styles, including Classic, Cute, Cat, and even a single-eyed Monster style!
